Our Mission

It's simple yet world-changing:
to bring millions of believers together through prayer, united in the pursuit of a global revival.

What We Believe

The Foundation of Our Faith

At Revival Surge, we are Apostolic believers who stand firmly upon the Word of God. We believe that there is One God who revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the final authority in all matters of faith and salvation.

Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV)
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord."

Isaiah 44:6 (KJV)
"Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."

1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

We believe that Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily and that all the power and authority of God is revealed in His Name.

Colossians 2:9 (KJV)
"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."

The Plan of Salvation

We believe the plan of salvation was first preached by the Apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2, and it remains the same today.

Acts 2:38 (KJV)
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Salvation includes three essential steps according to the Scriptures:

Repentance

Repentance is turning away from sin with godly sorrow and committing to follow Jesus Christ.

Luke 13:3 (KJV)
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Acts 3:19 (KJV)
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord."

Repentance prepares the heart for baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.

Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ

We believe that water baptism should be administered by full immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. This follows the pattern of the apostles and fulfills the command of Christ.

Acts 2:38 (KJV)
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins."

Acts 8:16 (KJV)
"For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."

Acts 10:48 (KJV)
"And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord."

Acts 19:5 (KJV)
"When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."

Some point to Matthew 28:19 as a reason to baptize using the titles “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,” but Jesus never said those were names. He said to baptize in the name (singular) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The apostles understood that the Name referred to Jesus, for He is the name that embodies all the fullness of God’s manifestation.

Acts 4:12 (KJV)
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Therefore, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is not optional; it is the biblical formula of salvation.

Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost

We believe that every believer must be filled with the Holy Ghost, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Acts 2:4 (KJV)
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Acts 10:44–46 (KJV)
"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word... For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God."

Acts 19:6 (KJV)
"And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied."

Speaking in tongues is the initial outward sign of the inward filling of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit then empowers believers to live holy, victorious lives and to fulfill Christ’s mission on earth.

Romans 8:9 (KJV)
"Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

What the Bible Says About Salvation

Salvation is by grace through faith, but it must follow the biblical pattern of obedience to the Gospel.

Mark 16:16 (KJV)
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

John 3:5 (KJV)
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

To be “born of water and Spirit” is to be baptized in Jesus’ Name and filled with the Holy Ghost. This is the New Birth experience Jesus described to Nicodemus.

The Apostolic Doctrine

We are Apostolic because we follow the doctrine and example of the apostles as recorded in the Book of Acts and the Epistles.

Acts 2:42 (KJV)
"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

We believe that the same power, miracles, and signs that followed the early church should follow believers today. The message has not changed, and the commission remains the same.

The Great Commission

We believe and obey the command of Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations.

Matthew 28:18–20 (KJV)
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

The apostles fulfilled this command by baptizing in the Name of Jesus, teaching repentance, and laying hands on believers to receive the Holy Ghost.

The Mission of the Believer

Once saved, we become disciples of Jesus Christ and are called to demonstrate the power of the Gospel to the world.

Mark 16:17–18 (KJV)
"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Matthew 10:7–8 (KJV)
"And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

The Apostolic Church is not passive; it is a living, Spirit-filled body continuing the ministry of Jesus Christ in the earth.

We believe:

  • There is One God, and His name is Jesus.

  • The plan of salvation is repentance, baptism in Jesus’ Name, and receiving the Holy Ghost.

  • Speaking in tongues is the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost.

  • We are commanded to live holy, follow the Apostolic doctrine, and continue the works of Christ.

  • The same Gospel that saved souls in the Book of Acts is the same Gospel that saves today.

We’re raising up the Kingdom Crew; passionate followers of Christ who are ready to pray, serve, and spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Together, we are answering the call for revival because we believe the time is now, and revival starts with you.
